The Body is the Vessel: Deepening Forward Folds
Sunday, October 22, 2017 2-4pm
This alignment-based workshop is an inquiry into the bio-mechanics of the legs, pelvis and lower back. We’ll practice a skillful sequence to ground the energy of the body, open the hips, and release deeply into Kurmasana, Padmasana and other seated hip openers and forward folds. As we turn inward, we’ll explore the power of Pratyahara, the practice of withdrawing the senses inside where they rest in their source. There, we find the wellspring of equanimity, peace and inner well-being. Open to students of all levels with at least 6 months yoga experience.
Cost: $30 members, $35 regular
