Do you have a hard time falling asleep at night?

Or, if you do fall asleep quickly because you’re exhausted, do you wake up in the middle of the night or the very early morning and are then unable to fall back to sleep? Fortunately yoga can come to the rescue! It’s a perfect sleep aid because it can provide you a relaxed body, a calm nervous system, and a quiet mind, all of which are needed for better sleep.

In this workshop, you’ll learn:

  • what causes insomnia and how it is related to chronic stress
  • how to reduce stress levels during the day
  • how to prepare for sleep in the evening
  • how to promote better sleep when you get into bed
  • what to do if you wake in the middle of the night or too early in the morning
  • how to plan your 24-hour day to support good sleep

It is our hope that you’ll leave this workshop feeling both more relaxed and more informed—and that you’ll be equipped with all the tools you need to reduce your anxiety both in the short term and long term.

About the teachers

Nina Zolotow specializes in teaching yoga for stress, anxiety, insomnia, and depression as well as yoga for healthy aging.
