Learn how to use yoga to take charge of your anxiety, including how to manage current episodes and help prevent future episodes in this three-hour, on-demand  workshop.

If you’re a yoga teacher, this workshop will provide you many ways to offer help for your students who suffer from anxiety.

Take charge of anxiety by learning about what it is, why you experience it, and what its relationship to chronic stress is.

Nina provides you with background information about anxiety—something she has suffered from herself and has researched extensively—to empower you to make good choices about which yoga practices to do and which not to do.

Learn which yoga practices are most effective for you in managing your anxiety so you can practice them regularly.

We introduce you to a wide range of yoga practices you can use in the moment to calm down emotionally and physically, as well as practices to help prevent future bouts of anxiety in the long term.

Because anxiety is often accompanied by excess energy that makes it hard to relax, in the first half of the workshop Barrie guides you through an active grounding practice that can prepare you for relaxation.

In the second half the the workshop, Barrie leads you through a calming sequence specially designed for reducing chronic stress, one of the main causes of anxiety.

It is our hope that you’ll feel both more relaxed and more informed after this workshop—and that you’ll be equipped with all the tools you need to reduce your anxiety both in the short term and long term.
