| 108-hour Immersion in Montreal with Barrie Risman and Robin Golt, Certified Anusara Yoga teachers
The Anusara Yoga Immersion program is a great journey into Anusara Yoga philosophy and techniques, and provides a powerful framework for your own deepening relationship with the practices of asana, meditation, pranayama, study and contemplation. The Immersion Program has also been designated as the first step on the path to Anusara Yoga teacher training for those wishing to go further in their studies.
The Immersion curriculum, designed by John Friend, the founder of Anusara Yoga, is both educational and transformative. The complete program is 108 hours, and is divided into 3 modules. Each module is offered individually, over the course of 3 months. While you don't have to do all 3 parts, if you do, it's best to do them in order. The Immersion program is empowering, revelatory and heart opening. It can take dedicated students and aspiring teachers to an entirely new level of practice and understanding. Through the Immerison, you will also experience the unique power of kula, or community. The Immersion program is the pre-requisite to any Anusara Yoga Teacher Training Program, and yet it's open to all students who have been fired up by this practice and want to understand more deeply what it's all about. After the completion of this Immersion, we plan on beginning an Anusara Yoga Teacher Training in Montreal in Fall 2008.
